HOW WILL MY PRINT BE DELIVERED?

Your print will be flat-packed with a backing board in clear cellophane bags. Larger prints will be carefully rolled and packed into a sturdy cardboard tube and couriered to you.

DO YOU SHIP WORLDWIDE?

Yes, we ship worldwide. We'll provide you with a tracking number so you can follow your purchase from the second it leaves New Zealand. We offer free New Zealand-wide shipping for all fine art prints (only), however, international shipping fees will be calculated at checkout.

HOW LONG WILL IT TAKE TO SHIP MY ORDER?

All prints are made to order. Please allow 4-6 business days for completion.

Estimated delivery times with tracked mail are:

  • New Zealand: 1-3 business days

  • Australia: 3-6 business days

  • Rest of the World: 10-12 business days

If you need something by a specific date just let us know and we will do our best to get it to you.

Please note: Due to the current COVID-19 Pandemic, some deliveries may be delayed.

DO I HAVE TO PAY ANY ADDITIONAL DUTIES OR TAXES?

For international orders, your parcel may be subject to customs and import charges.

MUSEUM QUALITY PAPER

We currently only use Hahnemühle German Etching 310gsm, which is designed especially for fine art applications. Hahnemühle German Etching is a traditional mould-made copperplate printing paper, complete with an inkjet coating. The white art paper is made from 100% alpha-cellulose, characterised by its extraordinary velvety tactile feel and its fine, clearly defined felt structure. The unique surface texture adds a very special touch to images, showcasing them in all their splendor with impressive three-dimensional effect and depth. The premium matt inkjet coating guarantees outstanding print results with excellent reproduction of colour and detail, deep black, and optimum contrasts. German Etching is acid- and lignin-free and meets the most exacting requirements in terms of age resistance. This heavyweight Fine Art inkjet paper is one of the most popular printing papers for Fine Art prints and art reproductions thanks to its characteristic tactile feel and surface texture.

CARE INSTRUCTIONS

Prints are sensitive and ideally handled around the edges, along the white border. Avoid touching the printed area.

HOW DO I ORDER A CUSTOM PRINT?

Love a print but the colours won’t match your interior? Need a print in a specific size? We can make most prints bespoke. As all artworks are part of limited edition print runs between 5-100, 1 print for each design have been allocated to suit customer specifications. Please advise your size, colour and we will provide you with a quote. A digital proof can be supplied for sign-off prior to printing. Truly OOAK! HOW ARE CUSTOM PRINTS MARKED

In addition to the number (e.g. 1/5), signature, and emboss, bespoke prints are marked with an additional BES after the number (e.g. 1/5 BES).

WHY DO YOU LIMIT YOUR PRINTS ?

Every print at OOAK is special and so are our customer’s walls. To keep each print-run distinctive, we do not offer mass reproductions. It’s also better for the environment! Using giclee printing in combination with high-end, museum-quality paper, prints are made to last. Each print comes with a unique OOAK emboss for authenticity.

OOAK GIFT CARDS

OOAK gift cards are a great present for family and friends. Best of all, gift cards do not expire. Please note gift cards must be used in one transaction and can not be redeemed for cash.

COMMISSIONS

Commissioned artwork can be requested via email hello@ooak.nz. We will review your request and get back to you within 1-3 working days. A $250.00 non-refundable deposit fee is required upon acceptance and to commence work. Timeframes and costs of commissioned artwork will be determined after carefully reviewing your request.

DO YOU OFFER FRAMING SERVICES?

We are currently not offering framed artwork via online orders. However, for New Zealand orders, we are able to recommend high-end framing companies and framing can be organised upon request. OOAK prints look best on raised mats (float), behind art glass. Framed artwork is available at all exhibitions. Sign up for our newsletter or contact us directly at hello@ooak.nz

DO YOU PRINT LOCALLY?

Yes, all prints are provided by an Auckland-based fine art printer and all printing is done on wide gamut giclée printers using archival pigment inks ensuring the longevity of the print.  Giclée fine art printing offers one of the highest degrees of accuracy and richness of colour available in any of the reproduction techniques.

PAYMENT

We accept Paypal, which includes payments with Visa, MasterCard, Discover, or American Express. Shoppers can pay from their PayPal preloaded balance, directly from their bank account, or stored credit cards. We also offer AfterPay, which allows payments in 4 installments over a 6 week period.

 

COLOURS

Colours may vary between monitors and printers. Therefore there may be a slight variation between the colour that appears on your computer screen and the colours generated for your printed products. OOAK will not be responsible for orders where there is a slight variation in the colour that appears on the computer screen and the printed product.

COPYRIGHT INFRINGEMENT & INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

OOAK has full copyright and intellectual property rights of each of the designs and all credit for the designs must be attributed appropriately. OOAK artwork cannot be re-sold or used in any other means without permission. In accordance with standard license prohibitions, you may not resell, re-distribute or share in whole or in part for any reason; claim these designs as your own; or sell any digital or printed design. Copyright and right to reproduce do not transfer with the sale of artwork.

OOAK is the owner and the licensee of all intellectual property rights in our site and the material published on it (including, without limitation, any trademarks displayed on our site). These works are protected by copyright laws and treaties around the world. All such rights are reserved. We do not grant any express or implied right to any intellectual property rights in our site and the material published on it. You must not use any part of the materials on our site for commercial purposes without obtaining permission from us to do so. If you print off, copy or download any part of our site you are in breach of these Terms and Conditions, your right to use our site will cease immediately and you must, at our option, return or destroy any copies of the materials you have made.

RETURNS POLICY

In the unlikely event that you need to return a damaged item, we ask you to get in touch within 3 days of receiving your order. Once the return has been approved by us, the item must be sent back and received within 2 weeks from that date or we will be unable to accept it.

We only offer replacements on items damaged during transit. Please obtain proof of postage for your return.

Due to all prints being part of limited editions, the damaged print must be returned to OOAK. We will not send out replacement prints before receiving the returned artwork.

CANCELLATIONS

Cancellations are only considered if work has not commenced on limited edition prints. In this case, a partial refund may be considered on a case-by-case basis. Cancellations are not possible on shipped items.

PRIVACY POLICY

WHAT WE DO WITH YOUR INFORMATION

When you purchase something from our store, as part of the buying and selling process, we collect the personal information you give us such as your name, email, and postal address. 

When you browse our store, we also automatically receive your computer’s internet protocol (IP) address in order to provide us with information that helps us learn about your browser and operating system.

With your permission, we may send you emails about our store, new products, and other updates.

CONSENT

When you provide us with personal information to complete a transaction, verify your credit card, place an order, arrange for a delivery or return a purchase, we imply that you consent to our collecting it and using it for that specific reason only.
If we ask for your personal information for a secondary reason, like marketing, we will either ask you directly for your expressed consent or provide you with an opportunity to say no. 

WITHDRAWING CONSENT

If after you opt-in, you change your mind, you may withdraw your consent for us to contact you. If you wish us to discontinue collection, use, or disclosure of your information, contact us at hello@ooak.nz.

We reserve the right to limit or prohibit orders that, in our sole judgment, appear to be placed by dealers, resellers, or distributors.
